Most battery closet lights work on an all-or-nothing basis: a wide bulb behind a small lens, a single brightness, and a switch that fails the moment your hands are full. This one is built around a wider light source and an automatic trigger instead. Spreading 76 LEDs across a flat panel puts light evenly along a counter or shelf rather than in one bright pool, and the frosted cover softens that spread further so the output reads as even illumination instead of glare. A PIR sensor covers a 120° zone and picks up movement up to 305 cm (10 ft) away, switching the panel on before you actually reach it and off again after about 20 seconds of no motion, which matters most in spaces you pass through with your hands occupied - a closet, a stairwell, the gap under an upper cabinet. Three colour temperatures let the same fixture serve as bright task lighting at 6500K or dim, warm night lighting at 3000K, and a dimmer sits alongside for finer control within each setting.
