Drilling into bathroom tile is a decision you cannot undo. Either you own the place and still do not fancy putting a hole through a 60-euro tile, or you rent and it is not an option at all. This shelf mounts on a reinforced adhesive back strip - a full-width plate rather than two small pads, which is what stops the front edge from sagging under a row of full bottles. The frame is space aluminium, so unlike chrome-plated steel there is nothing underneath to rust once the plating chips. The base is slotted rather than solid: water runs straight through instead of collecting in the corners, which is the reason shelf bottoms go slimy in the first place. It is 12 cm deep and 4.8 cm high, so a pump bottle sits in it without being swallowed by a deep basket, and there are four lengths so you can match the run of wall you actually have rather than the one the shelf was designed for. Fit it in the shower, over the basin, or in a kitchen for oils beside the hob.

No holes, no regrets
The adhesive strip runs the full width of the shelf, which spreads the load instead of hanging it off two dots of tape. Removable later without a repair job.
