Transparent Tarpaulin with Grommets

A clear PVC sheet with a reinforced edge and metal grommets that lets you close off a porch, patio or window opening without losing the light or the view.

• Fully transparent PVC panel
• Reinforced fabric edge binding
• Rust-resistant metal grommets
• Blocks wind and rain while keeping sightlines open
• Single transparent colourway
• Hangs flat with no visible seams across the centre panel

A tarp works by putting a barrier between weather and whatever it is protecting, and the usual barrier is opaque: canvas or coated polyester that blocks wind and rain but also blocks the view, so a covered porch or patio turns into a dim box the moment you close it in. This one is cut from clear PVC sheeting instead, which does the same job of stopping wind, rain and dust but lets daylight pass straight through, so a sunroom stays bright and a garden still reads as a garden rather than a wall. The edge is bound in a woven fabric strip rather than left raw, which stops the PVC from tearing where it takes the most load, and that binding is set with metal grommets at intervals along every side so the sheet can be lashed to a frame, a railing or a row of hooks without punching new holes through the plastic. PVC of this weight also wipes clean with a damp cloth, which matters outdoors where canvas would need a proper wash and a day to dry. It folds flat for storage over winter and takes up a fraction of the space of a stiffer cover. The grommets sit a consistent distance from the corners, so tension stays even and the panel doesn't ripple loose over a season of use.

Keeps the light in
Clear PVC blocks weather the way an opaque tarp does, without shutting out daylight or the view beyond it.

Reinforced to last
A bound fabric edge carries the strain at the grommets, so the sheet doesn't tear loose under wind load.

Easy to hang and store
Grommets let it tie to a frame or railing without extra hardware, and it folds flat when not in use.
